Missing your garden this winter? Learn to grow your own microgreens at home with Marlaina from Gecko Mountain Farms. 

Microgreens are young seedlings of edible vegetables and herbs. Unlike larger herbs and vegetables that can take weeks or months to grow, microgreens can be harvested and eaten much sooner. They are also easy to grow inside during the winter months.

Join Marlaina from Gecko Mountain Farms as she leads the workshop participants in creating their own microgreen growing kit. Marlaina will explain the science, benefits, and best practices behind growing microgreens. 

All supplies provided. Workshop participants will leave with a microgreen growing kit (including planted seeds) that can be used again following the first harvest.

ABOUT Gecko Mountain Farms:

Marlaina pursued a career in  Nutrition and was a certified Holistic Nutritionist for 6 years. Marlaina longed for a way to give more back to the family that raised me and the  community she had grown in.  She purchased Gecko Mountain Farms from Renee  Watt in 2022. Renee had been passionately growing microgreens in the  Flathead Valley for the past 3 years. We have worked closely together to  bring the same quality microgreens into the future of Gecko Mountain  Farms.  Grown locally for our community and our families.
